  Dimitri's Greek Gyros & Deli is one of our favorite local little restaurants to take our crew out for a treat every now and then. The service is excellent, they're rarely overcrowded, the music is festive and fun, and most importantly, the gyros and potato salad are SO good. I would highly recommend the dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) as an appetizer as well.
  
  (My only hope for change would be that they go back to serving their gyro with the potato salad instead of having to pay for an extra side that costs nearly as much as the gyro. You can buy bagged potato chips anywhere, that potato salad though...)

  Quick lunch before we traveled out. Always looking for new places. This one was seasoned well. Small space with everyone busting tail for the Sunday lunch.
  
  Attentive servers and great tasting Greek food. Not the best, but very good. We'll probably go back someday, but for the area - not a lot of Greek options.

  Not totally fancy but a good place to go when you're in the mood for Mediterranean.
  
  I normally only get the gyro which is really good. This recent trip my wife and I got the gyro platter for two. Now, I sometimes eat like a humpback whale on a bender when I'm hungry. I was hungry. We didn't even quite finish our platter. Two pitas split in half, at least a pound of meat (says that on the menu, I'm not just giving you a guess), onions, tomatoes, olives, tzatziki sauce served on a bed of lettuce. Picture to accompany this review.
  
  They upcharge everything to make up for the fact they have to pay credit card fees. So if you pay cash you get about 4% discount. It's a business like any other business, there should be no excuse for the "because of credit card fees..."... sign on the door. That just makes it look like you're trying to justify the prices. But it's all good in the end.
  
  We've been there several times (we're local) and I'm sure we'll be there several times more.

  This may have once been a great place, it was clear while we were there that regulars came in to get dessert​ and that all seemed to be homemade​​ greek style deserts. The blueberry​ cheese cake in the display case was huge, perhaps the largest I'd ever seen.
  
  Our food was ok, but not great. We were a little cold as it had been raining and ordered the house soup and​ sandwiches. It was a chicken and rice soup. Mine was all rice and no chicken and lacked flavor or depth. It was watery and thin with little flavor.
  
  I had the pastrami which was not​ like would you'd get from a Chicago or NY deli, and I wasn't​ really expecting that. It was served on a light and dark swirled rye bread, lightly toasted.  The meat was ok, again not great, kind of chewy and plain. Like you might get from the grocery store, not homemade either. It was not served with mustard, it had some kind of a thick cream cheese-like​ sauce. It was actually good but strange for a pastrami sandwich.
  
  My wife had a gyro with lamb. She indicated it was ok, nothing special.
  
  Our waiter​ seemed to be family was friendly and helpful.
  
  So why a 3 star? Well,​ it was simply underwhelming. It lacked in decor, seems kind of worn out, not historic, just tired. The older women working the counter seemed put out that they were working, not service​ minded for a tourist destination. This place may have been famous once and may have been really good but it needs a lifeline​ and revitalization.

  I walked in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon place was empty I almost hesitate to go into an empty restaurant, I should've listen to my guts., I figured after reading all these positive reviews, why not I'll give it a try, and what a disappointment.
  the worst Gyro I have ever had. Super dried, The salad was not appealing, the pastry was awful., I paid and walked out no reason to say anymore. Ordered a gyro salad, and a pastry and a Coke  $33
